Dr. Mo Bayegan, Clinic Director
B.Sc. (Hons), DC, MA 

Mo Bayegan completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. During his time as an undergraduate, Mo spent three academic years specializing in molecular genetics and microbiology, with the next two subsequent years focusing on completing a biology and sociology degree.

After graduating with distinction from the University of Toronto, Mo took on a different career path and went on to complete a four year Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at CMCC. The education at CMCC focused on providing problem-based learning opportunities in an evidence-based setting in order to teach the importance of patient-centred care.

In 2011 Mo graduated from CMCC and began his graduate studies at the University of Western Ontario. His academic interests are in the field of Sociology of health, comparative history and sociopolitical theory. As a graduate student, Mo has held a graduate scholarship and teaching assistantship in first year introductory Sociology and second year Sociology courses. Mo has also served as a research associate on a major SSHRC-funded project in the field of comparative socio-political history. 

Over the past three years, Mo has worked as a member of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers at the Ontario Provincial Soccer Association, at the National Training Centres of Ontario.  During that time, Mo also served as  the Ontario Region 1 primary healthcare provider for the Ontario Soccer Association.  His work allows him to work intimately with elite provincial and national team soccer players, and gives him the opportunity to travel across the world. Most recently Mo has travelled to France, Spain, the United States, and various other Canadian provinces as part of the Ontario Soccer Association medical team.

Jessica Pragg CAT (C)

Jessica is a recent graduate of York University from the Athletic Therapy Certificate program, and a Certified Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association. Jessica is also a graduate from Durham College in the Fitness and Health Promotion Program, and UOIT in the Kinesiology program.
Jessica has worked with a variety of sports teams including soccer, softball, football, hockey, and basketball. She has been involved with both practice and games/tournament coverage.
Jessica utilizes her skills in manual therapy to compliment the rehabilitation process by combining Athletic Therapy and Soft Tissue Release Techniques in her rehab with great success.

Jennifer McCann, RMT

Jennifer graduated from massage therapy college in 2008 and has been in active practice since that time.  She offers general full body therapeutic massage, as well as local and specific treatment oriented sessions. Jennifer is a soccer player and outdoor activity enthusiast, who has previous experience working with elite and recreational athletes.  Furthermore, in the past she has also worked in multi-disciplinary clinics dealing with work and car related injuries. Jennifer is excited to offer treatment specific and sports oriented massage therapy sessions, as well as hot stone and pre-natal massages. Jennifer is a confident and focused therapist who is looking forward to treating a diverse patient population at Aspen Sports Therapy Clinic.

Kaitlyn Lamkie BHSc Kinesiology

Kaitlyn is a recent graduate from UOIT majoring in Kinesiology. Kaitlyn was involved at UOIT as a student trainer and worked with a number of varsity teams.
